Sometimes, it’s hard to track down key locations in Starfield simply because of its sheer size. Locatingall the Shipyards, Factions HQs, and shops is important, but you might also want to know where the bars are. I like checking out the various bars around the galaxy, not only for their cool aesthetics but because they are the perfect place to go for gossip, hiring crew, or maybe even just buying a drink or meal. I’ve listed all the bars below, ranking them from least interesting to most interesting, and gave you a quick view of their inventories!

All Bars in Starfield, Ranked

We’ve ranked all the major bars in Starfield based on their overall look, location, quests related to them, and, most of all, what they have in their inventory. Note food and drinks are considered Aid items because of the beneficial effects they can give you when you eat them. Most bars sell these items, and some of them are even more useful items to check out, so take a look at our list and see for yourself.

17. The Den Bar

Location: Wolf System, The Den

This is an unnamed bar in The Den star station, owned by a retired UC soldier. Considering The Den doesn’t have much to see in general, this makes up for a lot of empty space in the station. However, like the rest of it, it is a bit lackluster. You’ll find the usual bar inventory, like drinks and food.

16. Jake’s

Location: Alpha Centauri System, Jemison, New Atlantis

This simple bar is located down in The Well in New Atlantis, a convenient spot for the locals. While it doesn’t have anything that special to show off, it does offer a few unique food items on the menu and a lot of your classic bar items as well.

15. Aggie’s

Location: Cheyenne System, Akila, Akila City

Akila City has a few different options for bars, and this one is one of the smaller options, located in The Stretch. It flaunts Akila’s western-looking appeal with a few small tables and a pool table at the center, but nothing all that flashy.

14. The Hitching Post

The Hitching Post is also located in Akila City, and it outranks Aggie’s simply for the location and aesthetic. An outside-styled bar setting with an eye-catching sign you can’t miss, its inventory is small, but it offers your usual drinks.

13. The Broken Spear

Location: Sol System, Mars, Cydonia

The Broken Spear is one of the first locations you’ll come across in Cydonia. Its dark, moody setting is fitting for the desolate vibe of the planet and perfect for all kinds of crowds. You might run into some shady business or other job possibilities.

12. Lizzy’s

Location: Alpha Centauri, Gagarin, Gagarin Landing

Lizzy’s is one of the more interesting-looking bars on the list because it is a fully outdoor bar space with plenty of tables and pool tables. She has a larger selection than some others, offering food and other drink options. She is also a great person to go to for the latest Gagarin Landing gossip.

11. Brown Horse Tavern

Location: Sol System, Titan, New Homestead

The Brown Horse Tavern seems fitting for Akila City but is actually located in New Homestead—the hazardous moon in the Sol System. The cozy interior gives off a cabin vibe; it’s the perfect shelter from the outside. You’ll be able to find some other tastier food options to try along with your classics.

10. The Rock

The Rock is probably the most intriguing bar of all the bars in Akila City, not only because of its unique decor of hanging skulls and leopard print rugs, but because it is also the HQ for the FreeStar Rangers. If you’re thinking of becoming a Ranger, you’re sure to spend plenty of time here.

9. The Sixth Circle

The Sixth Circle certainly doesn’t earn its spot in the rankings because of its interior style, but it makes up for its plainness with its extended inventory. If you’d like to be served here, you’ll need to be a member of the Vanguard and complete a few missions.

8. Pit Stop

Location: Valo System, Polvo, Hope Town

The Pit Stop may not have that large of a menu, but is one of the cooler-looking bars, with a large lounge-like feel that makes it very homey and aesthetic. You’ll find some interesting people here to interact with and can still purchase any of the usual bar items and some Pit Stop exclusives.

7. The Viewport

The Viewport is not a very large establishment, but it has a very sleek, elegant style. Plus, it’s conveniently located right near the Spaceport of New Atlantis. Although the inventory may not be interesting off the bat, you may complete a unique quest for the bartender to earn a special new item on the menu (as long as you don’t mind pulling a few strings).

6. The Last Nova

Location: Kryx System, The Key

The Last Nova is aboard the Crimson Fleet starstaion, The Key. It fits in perfectly with the rest of the setting, featuring aggressive red lighting and edgy decor. You’ll have access to this bar as long as you’re a member of the Crimson Fleet, but if you decide to side with the UC, you will no longer be able to come here. Speak with the moody bartender for a special side quest and some extra unique items on his menu.

5. Madame Sauvage’s

Location: Volii System, Volii Alpha, Neon

Nothing in Neon is subtle, and certainly not its bars. Madame Sauvage’s features bright blue and green neon lighting and two floors of seating. Although it is one of the only bars in Neon not to offer Aurora, it does have its own exclusive beverage you may’t get anywhere else: Velocity.

4. Chez Simon

Location: Porrima System, Porrima II, Paradiso

Paradiso is the ultimate vacation retreat planet, and their bar fits in perfectly with that vacation vibe. Chez Simon, located on the outside terrace at the top of the resort building, features bright neon lights and tropical decor. It is one of the largest of the bars in the game, with lots of seating and even a stage.

3. Euphorika

Although Euphorika doesn’t seem like much when you first enter the bar, it has a lot more to offer if you’re willing to pay the 5,000 credits for VIP access. This dark, red room is a very eccentric and vibey spot that offers a more private place to purchase Aurora or enjoy their original Chimera drink if you don’t want to be in the busy Astral Lounge.

2. Astral Lounge

Astral Lounge is one of the very best bars to go to out of all the other bars in the game simply because it’s one of the largest and most interesting. You’ll be stunned to laughter from the alien-dressed dancers lining the dance floors, but there are plenty of other things to enjoy. You’ll be able to purchase Aurora freely here, as well as have an opportunity to try plenty of other original treats.

1. The Red Mile

Location: Porrima System, Porrima III

The Red Mile is easily the very best of the bars in Starfield due to its size and unique features, but also because of its inventory. It offers way more than your usual bar, allowing you to purchase ammo, healing supplies, and even occasionally weapons. Keep in mind weapon types might vary depending on your level.

The Red Mile Inventory

These are all the bars in Starfield ranked to our preference; they all offer plenty of sites and features to explore, as well as items in their inventories you may collect or use for their beneficial effects. What are your favorite locations to visit?
