Best control settings for Tekken 8

Whether you use a keyboard or controller, below are the best control settings for Tekken 8.

All keyboard presets for Tekken 8

Tekken 8 offers two different presets for players who prefer to use the keyboard to play. One preset focuses on using theprimary keyboardfor input, while the other includes thenumpad keys.

Nowadays, some keyboards come without a numpad, which makes your decision easier. However, if you have a numpad, I highly recommend using thesecond presetbecause it provides full keyboard coverage and makes it easier to differentiate between various keys to execute combos.

All controller presets in Tekken 8

There are three controller presets in Tekken 8: Type A, B, and C. The difference between Type A and B is minimal, as it only involves swapping out the heat burst or heat smash with the right trigger or the right bumper, and vice versa. Type C involves using the left trigger to swap your heat burst with heat mode by pressing the 2 button.

When it comes to these presets, it will depend on yourpersonal preference. For me, Type A has been effective right from the start. Since theheat modeis a newer feature and I am still trying to get the hang of it, it’s best for me to keep it on the right bumper.
