“The Rusty Rudder” is a giant boat off the coast of Fontaine. Upon paying a visit to the area, you’ll run into a maid named Permingeat, who will ask you a series of questions about the old boat. Answering them correctly will merit you the opportunity to operate a cannon, which can be used to unlock a Hidden Teleport Waypoint.

How to trigger “The Rusty Rudder” Hidden Exploration Objective in Genshin Impact
Start by heading to the area circled in the image above, east of the Foggy Forest Path. You’ll encounter an old boat called “The Rusty Rudder,” and among the employees onboard is a maid named Permingeat, who looks a little out of place.
You’ll find a large cannon beside Permingeat. Interact with the cannon toOperateit, triggering dialogue with Permingeat. She’ll ask you three questions and will give you time to find the answers.

After answering Permingeat’s questions correctly,interact with the cannon againto operate it. Fire the cannon in the exact position it’s facing (no need to make any adjustments) to blow up a giant boulder blocking the cave up ahead. Once done, you can claim anExquisite Chestand unlock aHidden Teleport Waypoint.
