With Season of the Wish’s launch in Destiny 2, fans of the looter shooter could also add Geralt of Rivia-inspired Witcher gear to their collection. While other crossovers have happened in the past, this one came out of nowhere and, for many, was a welcome surprise.
Every Witcher and Destiny 2 crossover item
The big caveat for theDestiny 2 and Witcher collaborationis that 99% of the cosmetics can’t be earned in-game. Aside from the Emblem, every single item must be purchased with Silver in the Eververse. To rub some salt in the wound, each item is fairly expensive, with the cheapest being 800 Silver ($8). To acquire everything, players would have to plop down about $110.
It’s quite the ask, but for fans of both franchises, there’s much to love here. The armor sets look amazing, even if Warlocks should have been given a Yennefer or Triss set. There was also a missed opportunity to reskin the Majestic Whinny Sparrow into something more befitting the noble steed that is Roach. Nitpicking aside, these are great designs, and the teams behind them should be proud.
