The highly anticipated Master Ball Masterwork research and rewards are now available in Pokémon GO. As always, players can undertake a certain set of quests to unlock glorious rewards like Master Ball, XP, and Stardust.

The Party Up event, which began on Jul 03, 2025, includes the Master Ball Special Research. You can earn the Master Ball and other rewards by finishing the tasks that are part of the research. Below we have the list of tasks for you to check out.

Apart from the aforementioned rewards, you will unlock a whopping 40,000 XP, 3000x Stardust, and a Master ball when you complete all of the tasks.
The Master Ball is a unique Poké Ball with a 100% catch rate on any Pokémon it’s used on. It is a rare item that guarantees the capture of a Pokémon without fail. As of now, players can only hold one Master Ball at a time.

How to get Pokemon GO Master Ball Special Research
The Master Ball research was a free offer for all trainers in September 2023, but not anymore. You need to spend$7.99 USDto buy the research ticket now, and you only have five days left to do so as per the timer mentioned in the in-game shop.
The official deadline for this special research hasn’t been announced yet, but our guess is that it will be the same day as the Party Up event, which is November 27.
