How to play Pet Rescue in Adopt Me!
Pet Rescue (located in the Winter Village) is a team-based minigame that was popularized during the 2021 holiday season and challenges players to work with their given team to free a pet from a block of ice as fast as they can. To chip away at the ice blocks, each player is given a pickaxe; swinging this pickaxe at your team’s block of ice will help free the pet frozen inside.
To add an extra challenge to this minigame, it takes place on a frozen lake, which means both you, and the pet you’re attempting to free, will slide around without much control. If you’re hit by the block of ice, or a skating penguin, you’ll be knocked over and stunned for a few seconds, which can really make a difference when the competition gets going.
The team that successfully frees their pet first will earn a hefty amount ofGingerbread, but everyone gets a decent stack of it just for participating!
