Astarion is my favorite Rogue in Baldur’s Gate 3. He has plenty of sass to back up his sharp daggers, excels at stealth combat, and can deal out large burst damage thanks to the class’s sneak attack. However, I wanted to make sure Astarion was as lethal as possible—here are thebest featsto improve Astarion in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Astarion Best Feats in BG3
Astarion is a rogue in Baldur’s Gate 3 and excels at stealth and sneak attacks. As such, you’ll want feats that improve on his strengths or use his Dexterity. Here are the best feats for Astarion in Baldur’s Gate 3.

The best feats for Astarion improve his abilities in combat, particularly with regard to sneaking, avoiding damage, or dealing more damage. Some feats listed above are only useful if you are using the proper fighting style.
Alertis a great feat, especially for the Assassin subclass. The +5 bonus to initiative ensures you are more likely to go first and trigger the subclass ability.Ability Score Improvementhas a similar effect, as it allows you to increase your Dexterity, which increases your initiative bonus. Increasing Dexterity also improves your armor class and chance to hit.
Defensive DuelistandDual Wielderare great combat feats, but they depend on whether you use a single weapon or dual-wielding. Defensive Duelist allows you to temporarily increase your AC, while Dual Wielder does the same and improves your two-weapon fighting. With patch 4, Dual Wielder lost the ability normally given to two-weapon fighting regarding ranged weapons, so now they function as intended with the feat.

SentinelandLuckyboth have great benefits for triggering sneak attacks. Lucky automatically gives you Advantage on attacks, allowing you to easily use sneak attacks along with other benefits, while Sentinel increases your odds of using a sneak attack by making opportunity attacks easier (it also prevents foes from fleeing).
Lastly,Mobileis a great feat for increasing Astarion’s movement speed. It also prevents the need to use a bonus action to disengage, allowing you to move more freely around the combat field.Magic Initiate: Wizardis a great feat to take if you play as an Arcane Trickster, as it gives you more spells and lets you scribe scrolls.
Overall, the feats listed above are all good choices for Astarion, so don’t be afraid to experiment with them.
