Once you start to get some weapon modules in Outcast - A New Beginning, you can create the soldier to want to play. So depending on the way you want to play, what are the best weapon module gun combinations in Outcast?
Outcast A New Beginning - Best gun combinations
One of the nice things aboutOutcast - A New Beginningis that you can swap weapon modules in and out at will. And, once you have both the gun and the rifle, all the weapon modules can be used in either one (but not both). You’ll get many modules as the game progresses. There are more than 30 in total, including some you need tomake with Module Parts, but these are my favorite combos.
Long-range novice (rifle)
Once you’ve got the rifle you can tackle enemies at some serious range. If aiming isn’t your thing (it certainly isn’t mine!) and you’d rather run and gun while avoiding fire, this combination has worked well for me. You’ll take things down slowly due to low damage, but you can get the job done at range and with low ammo use, despite the low DPS.

Close-range stopper (gun)
If you’re using the build above you should be able to rely on your rifle most of the time. However, if you do get into close range and don’t love the prospect of a shield fight, try this gun combination out.
Surefire sniper (rifle)
If you’re more adept with your shooter skills, there’s a lot of damage-dealing to be had with the right combination of rifle modules.
