Above are two comparison shots to give you a better perspective on how the game appears with these recommended custom settings versus with the extreme graphics preset. I took the images in the Zaravan Suburbs POI where there are several buildings and not many empty spaces. These are my PC specifications:
Going from low to high settings, the texture of the world objects, shadows, and special effects appear better. Looking at the FPS counter in the top-left corner, you can tell that I gained around 30 frames by switching to the competitive settings. It may not seem that big of a difference, but the visual clarity and performance improvement I felt was worth it. Furthermore, for players that have a low or mid-end spec PC, the difference in FPS will most likely be even bigger.
