Best Tales of Tanorio Starter - All Starters, Ranked
Like Pokémon, there are threestartersavailable for you to choose from in Tales of Tanorio—Rabush(a Grass-type Tanorian),Charcile(a Fire-type Tanorian), andChewaqua(a Water-type Tanorian). Each of these starters come with their own unique stats and moves, and looking at these stats can help you determine which one is right for your play style.
Is Rabush good in Tales of Tanorio? - Rabush Stat Summary
When looking at stats, it’s fairly obvious that the rabbit-esque Tanorian Rabush is the weakest of the three starters. It’s definitely the fastest, though, coming in five points higher than Charcile and a whopping 20 points higher than Chewaqua, but where it exceeds in speed, it lacks in attack power, health, and defense. It’s not a terrible Tanorian by any means, and it still equates to a stat total of310(like the other two starters), it’s just a bit weak when compared to its peers.

Is Chewaqua good in Tales of Tanorio? - Chewaqua Stat Summary
Chewaqua is a pretty middling starter compared to its peers. It has amuchhigher attack power than Rabush, and is only slightly below Charcile in that regard, though it is the slowest starter of the three by quite a bit. To round it out, Chewaqua has the lowest ranged attack power, but the highest health and defense; it’s also the starter with the least amount of type weaknesses. This is a perfectly good starter if you want something that lands in the middle of the road in pretty much every stat.

Is Charcile good in Tales of Tanorio? - Charcile Stat Summary
Charcile is a starter that, when looking at its stats, stands pretty high above its peers. It has high health, high speed, and the highest attack power; the only place is really lacks is in its defense, which is the lowest of the three starters. But, Charcile makes up for this lack by being strong against the most types of Tanorians, and being weak to only one more type of Tanorian than Chewaqua. When everything balances out, Charcile seems to be at the top of the starter list.
What is the best starter in Tales of Tanorio?
In my opinion, using the stats given to me by the experience, I feel comfortable saying thatCharcile is the best starter in Tales of Tanorio. Not only is it an all-around solid Tanorian, even managing to supersede its peers in multiple stats, it’s also well designed and a unique approach to a creature combination.
With all that being said, did I take my own advice and choose Chacile in my personal Tales of Tanorio adventure, though? No, but what can I say, I’m a sucker for a water type!
