Despite the manyconnection problemsin The Day Before, if you’re still looking to jump into the action, then you’re going to want to choose the right starting class, with the best traits. Here’s some help choosing!

What starting class should you be in The Day Before?

The Day Before has three starting classes to choose from:Roamer,Ghost, andPathfinder. While their little backstories don’t really make much of a difference while you play, the important factors of each class are their bonus traits.

The traits will give you little boosts in skills right off the bat, but you can also level up and place more points onto other skills as well as you progress. Each class has different useful strengths, but if you’re looking for the best one to start off with, we have some suggestions!

Ghost

Ghost is basically your fighter class, equipped with traits that are all about combat and survival. They are speedier than most, withincreased Staminaandrifle reload speed. They are moreresistant to injuries, making them tough in dangerous situations. While they are definitely all great traits to have, it would be a better class for more skilled, battle-ready players who are out for blood.

Roamer

The Pathfinder is a slightly more cautious class, playing better in the background than the front lines. Their Cold-blooded trait gives themfaster sniper rifle reload, allowing them to excel at long-range combat. They also make great supportive characters since theirhealing skillis increased, keeping themselves or their allies alive if need be. Even though frontline combat might not be the best, they can definitely go face-to-face with vendors and get a real bargain intradingwith their Charismatic personalities.

Pathfinder

In my opinion, Roamer is thebest choice as a starting player. They have well-balanced traits with essential increased skills that will make getting started so much easier, such as increasedWeight CapacityandLootingskills. This will help you gather many more resources and gear up with weapons quickly without running out of room. Plus, they haverecoil controlskills to help them be more accurate with their shots and stand their own in battle.

These are the three starting classes to choose from in The Day Before so far. Although all of them are useful in their own way, choosing which traits you’ll want at the start of the game can be crucial to how you survive in the world. You’ll also want to consider if you’re playing with friends and what classes they are as well. A balanced team is definitely the way to go.
