Best ways to earn Star Coins in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Find Chests
you’re able to also find more significant amounts of Star Coins up for grabs in chests, specifically thegold-colored chests. Chests are hidden in various places around the map, including in character homes and sometimes in rocks or breakables that must be broken with your pickaxe. They can contain anything from a Recipe or Clothing Bag to extra coins. The gold chests more commonly spawn after collecting all the time-sensitive coins and almost always carry more coins.

Go Fishing
Fishare one of the better items to sell to Goofy, especially if you can catch a larger quantity of them. Since it doesn’t take much time and the ponds are right near Goofy’s Stand, this is one of the best ways to grind Star Coins. Just equip your fishing rod and cast it into the ponds where theripples and bubblesappear. It also helps to have acompanionwho has therole of fishingso that you can catch multiple fish simultaneously. Also, be sure to fish in gold spots as much as possible for the better rarity fish that will sell for greater Star Coins.
Harvest Crops
It’s also a great idea to always have your garden filled with plants. Harvesting and selling your crops can amount to quite a few Star Coins, especially if you’re planting themost profitable crops, like Pumpkins. This is a good practice to get into and something you can do every day when you hop into your Valley. Don’t forget to check WALL-E’s garden as well to pick a few extras to sell.

Mine Gems
The absolute best items you will want to collect to sell are gems. Gems are foundinside depositsaround the outer rims of the Valley along the cliffsides, but I would recommend only farming inVitalys Minessince you’re able to collect gems that sell for a lot more, like Rubies and Sapphires. You can use your pickaxe to break them open and collect the gems and minerals as they fall to the ground. Plus, just like fishing, you can bring a friend along to collect more at a time.
You can grind these activities or do them casually as you complete other quests to save up your Star Coins in no time at all. You’ll soon be able to upgrade buildings, buy new clothes and furniture, or keep saving for things even greater!
