Seeds in The Dark Prince play a similar role to Vitamins in the Pokémon franchise—permanently increasing specific stats of a monster in your party. In this guide, I’ll provide various Seed Farming tips in Dragon Quest Monster The Dark Prince.

How to farm Seeds in Dragon Quest Monsters The Dark Prince

The fastest way to get Seeds in The Dark Prince is to release monsters you capture or hatch back into the wild. However, this does not guarantee that you’ll get specific seeds in return, asseed drops will always be random.

Our preferred method is abouthoarding one of each monster speciesyou encounter during your exploration and bulk-releasing them all at once. It’s the most efficient way of getting a bunch of seeds with the least wasted time.

As an optional tip, you can alwaysscout within the Lower Echelons! Bigger level gaps mean bigger stat gaps.

If this method is too time-consuming for you, you can always hunt specific monsters that drop Seeds (i.e. Slime, Wing Slime, Feralball, Bunicorn, etc.). However, I recommend you treat this as a last resort or if you’re only looking to farm a specific type of Seed, as monsters rarely drop seeds, even with drop-rate boosting accessories.
