I’m always looking for any edge I can get over the Queen’s Guard in For The King 2 and new skills can really make a difference. One of the better ones for me is the Eager skill, so read on for what it does and how to get it.
For The King II sees players is a tactical turn-based RPG but also a rogue-like game, meaning the story stays the same but the maps are procedurally generated. The more you play and the further you get you can unlock new items, traits, andcharacters to use in later plays.
How to get the Eager skill and trait in for The King 2
TheEager Skillis acquired by you taking theEager Traiton one of your characters from the Lore Store during setup. The Eager Trait can only beunlocked during Chapter Two. However, unlike what some reports suggest, you do not need to complete Chapter Two to discover it; I found it during my first run through Chapter Two and it was definitely in my Lore Stoe before I’d completed the chapter.

The character you equip with the Eager Trait gains the Eager Skill. This gives that character a25 percent chance to attack first in every round of combat. While I’d usually take a weaker but guaranteed skill over a random one, the ability to strike first more often is highly desirable. I like to use it on a healer, such as a Herbalist, especially if they’re also equipped with an area effect weapon. This allows you to start a round strong, healing up and also laying down some big damage.
