According to all the trailers, teasers, and key art Fortnite Myths and Mortals Chapter 5 Season 2 will be based on Greek Mythology. Most of the battle pass skins revealed so far feature Greek Gods like Zeus, Ares, Poseidon, and others. You can expect these characters to be a part of the battle pass with unique style edits and accessories.
Similarly, the teaser also hinted at certain divine abilities that you can use in Fortnite Myths and Mortals. For instance, we saw Brite Bomber harnessing the power ofZeus’s thunderbolt. Some popular weapons from Greek Mythology include Poseidon’s Trident, Hades’s Bident, Hermes’s Winged Shoes, Appolo’s Bow, and Ares’s Spear, which we might get to see next season.
It is also very likely that a new traversal mechanic will be introduced, and most are expecting it to fly. This ties in directly with Greek mythology, which symbolizes the flight of Icarus. The flying mechanic may have some form of resistance that requires players to use it tactically. Icarus flew too close to the sun, so you can expect this feature to be a part of the new movement mechanic.
