Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth Crafting Guide
You can begin upgrading and crafting weapons once you unlockJulie’s Gearworksin Chapter 4: The Ghetto. In this undercover car shop, Julie will give you the options to upgrade gear to improve its stats or craft your own weapon.
Upgrading a weapon will increase the damage and magic effect stats on it. The more you upgrade, the higher the weapon’s level increases, eventually allowing you to add Brand effects to it. You can increase the weapon’s level multiple times based on the amount of materials you have, but it will also cost you more money. Materials also have different upgrade values, increasing the level more than others.
Crafting a weapon will make a brand new weapon from scratch from the recipe selection you have available at that Gearworks location. Crafting weapons is the way to get them because most of them will have special effects. However, crafting a weapon will take more materials and money. Specific options of weapons to craft will only become available when you increase theFacility Rank. Your Facility Rank will increase every time you use the crafting or upgrade services.

How to get upgrade materials in Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth
you may occasionally find some crafting materials in loot containers likebriefcasesand, more reliably,safes. However, I found I got more materials from completing battles against different goons around the area.
If you have extra weapons on you that you aren’t using, you can exchange them for materials by visiting Julie’s Gearworks and using theMaterial Exchangeoption. This will get rid of the item but give you some materials in return to use on upgrades of crafting.
