Best way to drift in Driving Empire
Drifting in Driving Empire isn’t as straightforward as you might expect. You’ll need to splurge on some serious upgrades for your car, somake some moneybefore you get started.
To successfully drift around a turn, you need toaccelerate(W on keyboard) until you reach about 100 MPH. This is because drifting severely reduces your car’s speed; failing will cause your car to spin out or stop altogether. Be sure to accelerate well before you reach the turn in order to max out your potential speed.
Once you’ve entered the turn, tap your handbrake (Space on keyboard), thenimmediately accelerate again. This will maintain your control over the car while it slides. From here, turn right or left (D and A on keyboard, respectively) depending on which direction you need to go. Your car will seamlessly drift through the turn and allow you to straighten out and regain speed almost instantly.

Best drift cars in Driving Empire
Technically, any car can drift in Driving Empire with the proper upgrades. However, some cars have base stats that offer the driver more speed and control compared to others. If you plan on taking your drift car into races, then here are the cars I recommend based on your budget:
In all cases, the most important stats for drifting aretop speed, the maximum MPH your car can reach, andacceleration, your car’s ability to gain speed in a short time. The aforementioned vehicles are strong in both areas, so choose one based on your available cash.
All drift upgrades in Driving Empire
Certain upgrades are essential to your car’s ability to drift in Driving Empire. After purchasing your chosen vehicle, head to the automotive garage and press E to interact with an empty lot. This will take you to a new screen where you can customize your vehicle and purchase upgrades. SelectPerformance, then choose any of the vehicle parts that appear.

Drivetrain - RWD
Before you attempt to drift, make sure you purchase the rear-wheel drive (RWD) upgrade, which vastly improves your car’s handling compared to a four-wheel drive (FWD). Luckily, RWD doesn’t come with any subsequent upgrades, making it a simple one-time purchase.

As the name suggests, drift tires are key to getting your car to drift. These tires have less traction than their stock counterparts and improve your vehicle’s handling. I recommend spending any extra cash you have on upgrading your drift tires.
Brakes - Drift Brakes
Drift brakes are second only to tires in their ability to help your car drift. These brakes allow for wider turns and increase your vehicle’s capacity to powerslide, allowing it to get around those sharp bends.
Nitrous - Powerful Boost
Upgrading your car’s nitrous is optional for drifting, but I find it useful for getting a quick speed increase before hitting a turn. If you’re looking to get the edge on an opponent or compensate for lost time in a race, then the powerful boost nitrous is well worth the investment.
Keep in mind that all cars in Driving Empire are truly unique, and some upgrades may work better than others on your vehicle. Try experimenting with engine modifications and altering your suspension to see what works best.
