When having fun in a Roblox experience, whether alone or with friends, I of all people know that the last thing you want to see is anerror code, especially one that doesn’t seem to have a clear fix. Though error code 292 does come with a description when it appears, said description can be a bit confusing, which is why I’ve created the brief guide below that explains how you may fix this pesky error.

What is error code 292 in Roblox and how to fix

Error code 292 is a mobile-specific error, that, when it appears on your screen, will likely read “Your device’s memory is low. Leaving now will preserve your state and prevent Roblox from crashing,” which can easily leave players confused. To put it simply, when error code 292 appears, Roblox is warning you that the device you’re currently playing on is either A) running too many applications at once, or B) too old or weak to run the experience you’re trying to play.

A lot of the time, this issue can be fixed by simply leaving the experience you’re in, closing Roblox and any other extra applications you have open, reopening Roblox by itself, and then rejoining the experience again. You may also need to decrease the graphics quality, which can be done from the in-game settings menu. If the issue still persists, your device is likely just too old or weak to run the experience you’re trying to play. In this case, there’s nothing you’re able to really do to fix it, except playing on a different device that can handle more demanding experiences and has more memory (RAM).

Despite what you may assume or think, this errordoes nothave anything to do with your device’s actual memory/internal storage—meaning deleting content on your device will not help with this issue.

As mentioned above, error code 292 is typically associated with the issues highlighted in this guide. If the error consistently appears for a long period of time, however, it may be in your best interest to reach out toRoblox support, if you haven’t already.
