Similar to characters, Chaos, and skins, Hoverboards can be unlocked in a variety of ways. Some hoverboards can only be purchased with Robux, while others can be unlocked by completing quests or participating in limited-time events. When one of these events ends, the exclusive hoverboard that corresponds with it will no longer be available. If you’re hoping to unlock a hoverboard for cheap, and without having to put in the extra effort of completing time-consuming quests, I’d suggest keeping an eye out for a super sale, which normally lowers a hoverboard price to just10 Robux.

What do hoverboards do in Sonic Speed Simulator?
Hoverboards can be equipped from the Character menu and ridden all over the various Sonic Speed Simulator worlds. As far as I can tell, riding a hoverboard doesn’t actually make you any faster, at least not for me, it’s simply used for aesthetics and for completing hoverboard-specific races and quests.
