There are now more than 100 pets available to us in Old School RuneScape, from boss pets to skilling and one-off pets. Read on to find out how to get your very own pet quetzal bird, called Quetzin.
OSRS - How to get the quetzal bird pet Quetzin
The biggest barrier to getting the quetzal pet, Quetzin, in OSRS isbecoming a member of the Hunter Guild. You need to become a member of the guild to be able to complete Hunters’ Rumours, the rewards from which areHunters’ Loot Sacks. These come in various tiers, depending on your level, with Quetzin being a potentialrandom unique dropfromTier 2 and 3 sacks.

To join the Hunter Guild you’ll need to have completed the questEagles Peak(this is available from Aedougne Zoo) and have the following skill levels:
You will then need to head to Varlamore. For a full walkthrough of the process, you can read my guide onhow to join the Hunter Guild. Once in you can take Hunters’ Rumours quests but you’ll need to be at leastHunter 72to take quests withTier 2 sack rewards, and Hunter 91 to get Tier 3 sacks.
If you don’t currently have a pet following you, you’ll know you’ve got Quetzin as a reward if you get the message,You have a feeling like you’re being followed. Otherwise (as long as you have backpack space) you’ll get the message,You feel something weird sneaking into your backpack. Good hunting!
