A fresh set of Modern Warfare 3weekly challengesis live now, and one of them requires you to get 20 Akimbo kills. However, the term ‘Akimbo Kills’ is unclear to many, so I’ve put together this guide to help you complete this Modern Warfare 3 challenge.
How to get operator Akimbo kills
An elimination will be counted as an Akimbo kill when you take down an opponentwith a gun that is compatible with Akimbo Rear Grip attachments,such as Akimbo .50 GS, Akimbo Basilisk, and Akimbo P890.
Akimbo lets you use two secondary weapons at the same time while hip-firing in the game. This doubles your firepower and is perfect for players who prefer close-range combats. However, you will need to unlock these attachments first before using them in Modern Warfare 3. Here is the list of all the weapons that can be used with Akimbo attachments, along with instructions to unlock them:

Once your loadout is ready, head to any Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer mode and get 20 Akimbo kills to complete the challenge. After completing the core objective, you’ll receive 50,000 XP for your efforts.
Please note:You can’t aim down sights with Akimbo Weapons, so you have to hipfire them.
