The Fabricator can unlock many new tools and items for you in Pacific Drive, like a handyflashlight, but it isn’t usable without Energy. Each blueprint will require a specific type of Energy and amount to be printed. Here’s how to get some!
Pacific Drive How to collect Energy - Stable, Unstable, and Corrupt
After unlocking the Fabricator and completing your first official Drive, you can start printing blueprints for new items. However, to do so, you’ll need the proper requirements met and enough Energy stored.
The type and amount of Energy required for a blueprint is shown on the right side of the Fabrication screen. Your total amount of Energy is shown on the left side. There are three different types of Energy you can get throughout your Drive:Stable,Unstable, andCorrupt. The more upgraded and further along the blueprint, the more complex energy is required.
You can collect Energy while completing your Drives and are bound to get some every Drive without even realizing it. This is because Energy is collected throughAnchor Points. When opening an exit in a Drive, you need to collect theAnchorsat these points andstore them in your ARC Devicewithin your car. Doing so not only lets you warp back to the Auto Shop but also stores that Energy to use at the Fabrication Station.
You can check the Drive location ahead of time via theRoute Plannerto see what kind of Energy you can collect there. Hover over a Drive location and look at thetop right of the menuto see what Energy and how much Energy is available there. If you need clarification on what the icon means, you can double-check in the Fabrication Station.
All the starting areas will just have Stable Energy until you progress further and open the opportunity to collect Unstable and Corrupt Energy, but it will be more difficult.

How to get Anchors in Pacific Drive
You need to head to the specific Anchor Points to collect Anchors during your Drives. These points are shown on the map asyellow circlesvia yourARC Devicein your passenger seat. If none appear immediately, continue driving around to see if they pop up, or use an Anchor Radar gun (unlocked via Fabrication Station) to help you detect them.
As you approach the spots shown on the map, you will see the Energy flowing up into the sky. Approach the Anchor andgrab the spherefrom the center. Be careful while doing this since it will trigger a few anomalies to pop up in the area. Return that sphere to your car andplace it in the ARC Device. After putting the sphere in your car, it will be stored and ready to take back to the Auto Shop.
The stored energy amount will be shown on themeter on the right side of the ARC Device. Once it reaches the red line, you may create an exit to warp out of the Drive and back to the Auto Shop. However, you must complete the Drive without dying in the storm to keep the Energy you collected.
Now, you may return to the Auto Shop and use the collected Energy at the Fabrication Station. However, once you use some Energy, you’ll need to replenish it by gathering more Anchors, so try to collect as many Anchors as you can while on your Drives.
