Where to find Malachite in LEGO Fortnite
Malachite is a green-colored stone that can be found on thecliffs of snowy mountainsin theFrostlands biomein LEGO Fortnite. The Frostland biome is a region where you’ll incur cold and freezing damage, so it is best to prepare before visiting this location. I recommend equipping Trinkets and Totems likeInner FireandRegeneration Charm. Similarly, you can also consume items likeSpicy BurgerandSpicy Pepperto resist Cold damage in-game.
Malachite deposits can be identified by their distinctivegreen color.Check the image above to see how they look in-game. Keep in mind that you may only store up to 30 Malachite pieces in each inventory slot, so ideally you want to keep an empty bag while farming. However, you can’t break a Malachite deposit with any ordinary tool. You will have to craft aEpic Pickaxeand here’s how to do it.
How to craft an Epic Pickaxe in LEGO Fortnite
To make anEpic Pickaxe, start byupgrading your Crafting Benchto Epic rarity. Once that’s done, craft eight pieces ofObsidian Slaband five pieces ofFrostpine Rod. Both of these are processed materials so you’ll need raw items like Obsidian (from Lava caves in Dry Valley) and Frostpine (from harvesting Trees in the Frostlands biome. When you have both items, simply visit aCrafting Benchand select the Epic Pickaxe to craft one. After obtaining this tool, visit the cliffs and mountaintops in the Frostlands biome to find Malachite.
