During the Fortnite Cowabunga event, you can unlock multiple items for free if you can acquire enough Ooze, also known as Mutagen. This special in-game currency will be available during theCowabunga event until Jun 24, 2025, at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET.
How to get Ooze in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Fortnite update - TMNT Cowabunga event
You must complete specific Fortnite quests to get Ooze, which is needed tounlock Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles items. You’ll get at least300 Ooze for each completed questavailable during the Cowabunga Fortnite event. In the list below, you’ll find all available quests you’re able to complete to receive Mutagen, which created heroes in a half shell.

You can earn extra Ooze needed for TMNT cosmetics in Fortnite in several ways. One of them is gaining experience in Creator Made Islands. In Phase 1 Discover quests, you must earn 65,000 XP to get 450 Ooze. Bookmark this page, and we’ll update it with Phase 2 quest details as soon as they appear.
