Strafing is a common technique in shooter games in which players move side-to-side while shooting or aiming at a target. Here is the best way to get strafing kills in MW3.

How to get kills while strafing in Modern Warfare 3

For camo challenges that require you to get kills while ADS (aiming-down-sights) and strafing, ADS your weapon andmove sidewayswhile keeping your aim on the target and trying to eliminate them (first image). To get hipfire kills while strafing, simply move side-to-side without ADSing (second image).

I highly suggest you incorporate this technique into your gameplay, as strafing makes you a more difficult target to hit. If you’re having trouble killing enemies, try out Hardcore mode, as you’ll be able to eliminate enemies faster.

To improve your ability to get strafing kills, you should try theStalker Bootsperk, as it increases both your strafing and ADS movement speed. Furthermore, the attachments you’re using on your weapon play an important role as well. I’ve explained this below with recommended builds for the guns.

ADS and strafing

To unlock the Forged mastery camo on theDG-58Assault Rifle, you’ll need to get 10 kills while ADS and strafing with the weapon. For this challenge, you may use the build above as it has attachments such as the XRK Edge underbarrel and Hardened stock that increase the ADS movement speed and overall movement speed (second image).

To get the Priceless camo for theDG-58 LSWLMG, you’re tasked with scoring 25 hipfire kills while strafing with the gun. This can be made easy if you equip hipfire spread improvement attachments on your weapon, such as the muzzle, laser, and underbarrel I’ve used above.
