Where is Ancestral Sword in Season of Discovery?
You will have to travel a bit to reach the Ancestral Sword. First, you have to go toEastern Kingdoms, and on the north, there’sTirisfal Glades. In the northeast part of Tristfal Glades region is theScarlet Monastery. You don’t have to enter the Monastery because the Ancestral Sword is one of the drops for mobs in the monastery courtyard.

How to get the Ancestral Sword in Season of Discovery
Once you get to the Scarlet Monastery northeast of Trisfal Glades, you haveto fight mobs in the courtyard, as the Ancestral Sword is one of the drops the mobs will leave when defeated. Any of the Scarlet mobs has a chance to drop the Ancestral Sword. The chance isn’t big, but you will get it after a bit of farming.
Furthermore, if you want to level up while farming, you can visit any of theScarlet Monastery’s dungeons. There, you can attack the mobs in groups, as they also can drop the sword when killed.
The Ancestral Sword is a two-handed blade that requireslevel 26to wield. It has a flavor notation that says, “Passed down by a noble Lordaeron family. Once thought to be lost in the swamps around Kyross along with the last warrior to wield it.” This weapon might be a clue to discovering a new Priest rune that gives thePain Suppressionspell.
