The Grenade Launcher unlocks once you reachlevel 5. Interact with theShip Managementmodule and scroll to theStratagem section.Support weaponslike the Grenade Launcher, Laser Cannon, Supply Pack, and Incendiary Mines can be unlocked from theEngineering Bay.
You must have around5000 Requisition Slipsto unlock the Grenade Launcher, so it is best to save up on the credits while progressing through the early phases of the game. Once the briefing for a mission is complete, you must select aloadoutto go ahead. Choose between the best offensive, defensive, support, and other strategem to have a balanced composition in your team. For instance, I like to use the Grenade Launcher, Gatling Turret, and the Eagle Cluster Bomb to eliminate powerful foes quickly during raids.
After landing on a planet, call in the Grenade Launcher strategem to collect and equip the weapon. Your party members can also pick up and use the weapon once the strategem is deployed. This weapon is designed to eliminate enemies from a distance and can be lethal to your character if fired at close range. So, if you are being chased by a bunch of bugs or robots, sprint away quickly to create distance before shooting with the Grenade Launcher. Remember to preserve ammunition as this strategem can run out of shells quickly.
