As there will be a lot ofDevil Grindersthat will destroy your tires, some you can’t avoid, you will need to upgrade them first. A good choice is thePuncture-proof tires, as they block both the Flat and Blown OutStatuses.

I personally don’t really like the way these tires handle, so my go-to are theOffroad tiresinstead, which are also easier to make. As I was also driving offroad to avoidAnomalies, these worked the best for me. I suggest packing anextra set of tires in your storageas well. Hopefully, you won’t need them, but better safe than sorry. And I’ve been sorry a few times, so I’m talking from experience.

You will also need to pack a lot of repair kits. Stacks ofRepair Putty, Blowtorches, Sealing kits, and Mechanic’s kitsare a must.First Aid and Food Cansfor yourself are also a good idea for when you have to get out of the car to fix it.

When it comes to the car body, you will definitely need to upgrade to something more than steel. I prefer theLead-insulated parts, as they also protect you againstRadiation damage. You can also equipArmored partsto get that extra damage against all of the Tourists and Tour Buses that will explode in your face.

Fuel CansandBattery Jumpersare also incredibly important as you might have to backtrack, and this section is quite long. There are Charging stations along the way, which you can also use to recharge your battery.

Once you are prepared, you’re able to head to the first crossing point marked on your map. Get underneath the Charge station to recharge your battery while you go into the Tower to open the gate. Equip the LIM Shield, and you are ready to go.

Your goal is to connect the circuit byactivating gatesalong the way. Once you are through a gate, you will need to keep moving andactivating checkpoints. If you stop and don’t make it to activate a gate, the green checkpoints will turn orange again. But don’t worry; all you have to do is go back to the last gate and cross it again to restart.

Take breaksbefore crossing the next gate to check your car and do any repairs you need to do. Even if a car part is highlighted in yellow and not red, it is better to fix it. The entire mission seems like you have to rush it, but you can definitelytake a minute or two to reorient yourself. It’s a new area, and everything will look frightening, so these breaks are good to calm you down as well.

After you make it through this section,go to the exit gatemarker on the map like you normally would. Climb up to the last tower andopen the gate, and then you can cross into the Deep Zone. You don’t have to worry about Anchors here, as you will need tohead to the Stabilizeranyway. Once you activate it, theInstability Storm will start rolling in, and this is your sign to head to the portal and back to the Auto Shop, with the Deep Zone now ready for exploration.
