An Eye for an Eye is a Genshin Impact World Quest in theUnfinished Comedyquest chain. In this quest, you must help Lanoire escape from the Fortress of Meropide, which starts by finding a way out through the abandoned production zone.
After initiating the quest, you’ll be prompted to go to the abandoned production zone without being noticed. I found this segment quite tricky as guards are scattered everywhere—and you need to follow a specific path to successfully reach the destination.
Go to the abandoned production zone without being noticed in Genshin Impact – An Eye for an Eye puzzle guide
As soon as you trigger this objective,turn leftand head toward the first bridge, as pictured above. Look to your left to find aglowing spot on the bottom floor. You can glide downward without being noticed by the guards. Once you’re on the bottom floor, you’ll find a guard in front of the elevator.
You need to distract the guard in front of the elevator so you can use it to go to an even lower floor. In front of the elevator, you’ll find a giant searchlight, where the arrow is pointing above.Interact with the searchlightto enable it.

As soon as the searchlight turns on, hide behind the structure pictured above.Wait for the guardto step away from the elevator.
Once the guard is standing on the right, run toward the elevator and interact with it toGo to Production Zone: Lower Level.
As soon as you’re on the lower floor,run forward, then jump into the water. You need toswimtoward the glowing spot on the left, as you’ll get caught if you head there by land.
you’re able to use the quest navigator to find the position of the glowing spot while in the water. After swimming, you can climb the railing to get to the glowing spot in front of the red lamp. Make sure to run quickly to avoid getting caught.
Pick up an Ousia blockby the railing. Then,attack the red lamp with a Pneuma blockto trigger a Pneumosia Reaction. Doing so will make the lamp turn blue.
Once the lamp has turned blue, interact with the machine to its left (pictured above).Activatethe machine to trigger the view to change. You need to solve a puzzle that involves transferring energy from one lamp to another.

First, pan the camera downward so that you’retargeting the lamp with an Energy symbolon top of it. Then, hit the Enter button (PC) orNormal Attack buttonto absorb the Energy from the lamp. The symbol should switch from blue to red.
Next, pan the camera upward andtarget the blue alarm(formerly red).Waituntil the switch gauge fills up, which will change your point of view to another part of the map.
When the map view changes, pan the camera to the bottom right to find a red lamp.Target the red lamp, then hit the Enter button (PC) orNormal Attack buttonto apply the Energy you had taken from the previous lamp. It should now turn blue.Exit via the X buttonon the upper right of the screen to return to the overworld.
It’s very important that youstay hidden until the guard approaches the lamp on the right, as pictured above. Once the guard is in the position shown above, run toward the elevator on the left and interact with it toGo to Abandoned Production Zone.
