Maloceros is a powerful foe that lives deep in the Gongaga region of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. If you’re struggling to interrupt this enemy when it uses Concentration to heal up, this guide is for you.

To interrupt Concentrate, you mustlandtwo powerful consecutive abilitieson Maloceros. They don’t have to be from one character. In fact, you can use anybody for this sans Aerith, whose Sorcerous Storm doesn’t have enough power.

This monster isn’t particularly fast, so it should be easy enough to make quick work of it. If you’re struggling to do damage, Yuffie’s Fire Ninjutsu with Doppelganger active can get it pressured fairly quickly. Once it is, have Cloud charge with a Firebolt Blade and a series of Focused Thrust until it’s staggered.
