Floating Jade, Treasure of Chenyu is a Genshin Impact World Quest in the Chengyu’s Blessings of Sunken Jade quest chain. One of the objectives is to investigate two stone shrines, which you may do with the help ofadeptalenergy.
I’ll show you how to use Chenyu Vale’s unique exploration mechanic to solve the puzzle and help you complete this quest objective.
Genshin Impact investigate the stone shrine puzzle solution – Floating Jade, Treasure of Chenyu
In this quest objective, you need to investigate two stone shrines north and south of the Jademouths. Make sure to turn on the quest navigator to make it easier to find the two areas. You can investigate them in any order.
Stone shrine #1
The first stone shrine is located north of Jademouth. Head to the quest location to find a group of Treasure Hoarders. You mustdefeat multiple waves of enemiesto unlock the adeptal energy in the stone shrine at the top of the mountain.
To use adeptal energy, approach the shrine until the small icon on top of it turns yellow. Doing so will allow you to resonate with the adeptal energy using thespecial interact button(T for PC, check the bottom of your screen as it differs per device), completing the investigation.

Stone shrine #2
Head to the quest area in the southern part of Jademouth to find the second stone shrine. You need to solve a small puzzle to complete the objective. As soon as you enter the clearing, you will find two cauldrons (northwest, northeast) and four sensors (northwest, northeast, southwest, southeast). Start by focusing on thenorthwest section.
Character positioning is important in solving the puzzle. On the northwest section, stand in front of the censer so that the cauldron, the censer, and your character are forming astraight line. Then, use thespecial interaction key(T for PC, check the bottom of your screen for your exact device) to resonate with the adeptal energy. Doing so will activate the censer, which you can track via the floating green line (see image two above).
Next, head to thesouthwest censerand form a straight line with any of the cauldrons. In the image above, my character is forming a straight line with the northeast cauldron, northeast censer, and southwest censer. Tap thespecial interaction buttonto trigger the adeptal energy. The green line will activateboth thesouthwest and northeast censers, killing two birds with one stone.
Do the same for thesoutheastcenter. Stand in a straight line with the censer and either of the cauldrons, then use thespecial interaction keyto trigger the green line to form, completing all four censers. If you missed any of the censers, you’re able to always go back and try again.
The last step is to activate the stone shrine using adeptal energy (special interaction key), which will trigger a short cutscene and spawn anExquisite Chestfor you to loot. The objective will be complete when both stone shrines are activated.
