The First Age Pickaxe is a unique tool you can unlock after rebuilding the Great Forge of Narvi. However, it’s not easy to make the First Age Pickaxe as it requires resources and various steps to get them.
How to Craft a First Age Pickaxe in Lord of the Rings Return to Moria
Before making a First Age Pickaxe, we recommend completing theForge a Steel Pickaxe quest. Completing the quest is a required step, as you need Steel ingots and aSteel Pickaxebefore you may make the First Age Pickaxe. Completing the quest will also unlock the crafting recipe for making a First Age pickaxe in Return to Moria.
That said, you may complete the quest by repairing the Great Forge of Narvi with Replacement Gears and Cranks. You can make these Replacement Gears and Cranks via the Forge with three Iron Ingots.
