Once you find a locked door, you can use the key to open it by pressing theleft mouse buttonwith the key equipped. Another method for opening locked doors is to use theLockpicker tool. You can use the Lockpicker tool like keys, but the item won’t get consumed when opening locked doors.
How to open secured doors in Lethal Company
To open the large grey secured doors in Lethal Company, a player must remain on the ship while another enters the building. The player on the ship needs to access the Terminal and typeView Radar. After typing View Radar, you may need to type Switch to change who the Radar is viewing. Sometimes, the Terminal has the Radar viewing the player on the ship. When you are viewing the correct player, wait for them to find a secured door. You can see when a player finds a secured door by looking for green numbers on the Radar map.
To open one of these secured doors, type the number/letter shown on the screen. For example, if you see a number likeF2, typeF2into the Terminal console to open or close the door. You can also use secured doors to block the path of hostile monsters chasing players quickly. We recommend waiting for the right type to close the secured door. Having the number pre-written may be the best option to quickly lock doors.
