The Gathering of the Beasts is overrun with Hobgoblins, Goblins, and Harpies and, man, they’re just trying to vibe, man. It’s kind of messed up that the Arisen crashes their party, I mean, wouldn’t you fight back too? Anyway, here’s how to open the chest at the Gathering of the Beasts area in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Note: There are two out-of-reach spots in the Gathering of the Beasts area. This guide does not explore the unreachable ladder section.
Dragon’s Dogma 2: How to reach the high cliff chest in the Gathering of the Beasts location
You’ll receivethree valuable rewards:
First, clear the area of all enemies that occupy the crumbled building. Despite the larger enemy numbers, it’s not that difficult of a fight, and your Pawns will do a lot of heavy lifting. I’m playing as a Mage, so I just stood back and supported my party by spamming Levin over and over. Once the area is clear, loot the area of all its goodies.

Seeker’s Token #1
If you do some parkour, there’s a Seeker’s Token on the tallest crumbled pillar.Don’t miss this item, because they’re super valuable for redeeming unique rewards at vocation guilds. If you happen to return here at night, the Seeker’s Token has smoke rising from it, and it’s much easier to notice. There’s a campfire not too far off if you need that visual aid.
Climbing the steep cliff
While looting, pay close attention to your Pawns. During my playthrough, one of them pointed out the location of the chest. For situational reference, it’s situated atop the cliff in the farthest corner of this crumbled area, away from the main path. It’s blended into the terrain, but not so much that it’s impossible to locate.
Now, I’m not 100% sure I solved this the conventional way, but bear with me. To access the chest, begin by hugging the cliff wall and retracing your steps back toward the starting point of this area.Shortly, you’ll encounter a downed tree— this is the landmark where you should stop.
Once you’ve found the downed tree,direct your attention to the cliff face, where you’ll spot a series of ledges. This is the unconventional part — at least I thought so — because you canparkour your way up the cliffusing these ledges. I slid down a bunch of times, but with persistence I guarantee you can reach solid ground.
Seeker’s Token #2
Once you’ve conquered the cliff, travel forward until you can descend into the narrow pathway leading towards the chest. Take a moment to scan the ground here—you’ll find another Seeker’s Token.
Open the chest
Continue forward up the pathway until you finally reach the chest. Open it and you’ll be rewarded120 RCfor your efforts.
