You can Recycle materials from structures by accessing theRecycle function in the Build menu. When you Recycle a structure, you willget back all the resourcesyou used for building. You can dismantle everything that you’ve built, including crafting devices, sheds, and evenUpgrade Depots.

Open the Build menu and select theRecycling modeoption to disassemble any construction back into the resources. Once you select the Recycling mode, you will notice a yellow overlay over the buildings you’re pointing at. By pressing theRecycle button, the structure you have selected will disassemble into the resources it was made of. The number of resources stays the same, so if you spent five Stones and three Woods to build something, that’s the amount you’ll pick up after the Recycle.

When to use Recycling Mode in Lightyear Frontier

You should use the Recycling Mode on buildings that you don’t use anymore, such as sheds or living quarters. The good thing is that youwon’t lose any resourcesif you recycle the buildings. Keeping the resources really fits the relaxing nature of Lightyear Frontier, and you don’t have to worry about being punished for bad resource management. However, you’re able to use the Recycle function tomove structuresbecause there is no moving option. If you want to move your crafting machines into a bigger Shed, just disassemble them and rebuild them inside.
