How to respec in Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader
To respec in Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader, you must first get past the start of thegame/tutorial. You can reach this point right after you beat theChaos Spawnboss. Afterbeating the Chaos Spawnand some brief dialogue, the option for respecing characters unlocks.
At this point, you can respec in Rogue Trader by speaking to a specific NPC calledHigh Factotum Janris Danrok.You can find Janris Danrok after the briefing that plays when you beat the Chaos Spawn. After the briefing, Janris Danrok will be toward the upper portion of the Voidship Bridge.

If you have trouble finding Janris Danrok, look at the map in-game. Janris Danrok is also located near Idira and has a unique icon that lists his name. Speak to Janris and choose the optionMy retinue and I are in need of training.Selecting the need for training is how you specify characters in Rogue Trader. Choosing the option also makes a menu where you’re able to do so appear shortly after.
In the respec menu, you’re able to respec yourself, your void ship, and any companions currently in your party. When respecing, you reset the following aspects of your character:
Keep in mind that you still won’t be able to change the basic parameters you have set in the character creation, likeyour homeworld, your backstory, and your basic archetype. You will, however, be able to change your advanced archetype when you get it by reaching level 16 in the game.
