Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has custom weapon blueprints that come with themed skins as part of cosmetic bundles. The game also allows you to create and save your own customweaponblueprints.

While it’s good to have pre-built weapon blueprints, these variants don’t always have the best attachments equipped if you ask me. Thankfully, you can create and save your own custom weapon build in the MW3 Gunsmith.

How to save a custom mod in Modern Warfare 3

To save a custom weapon mod or blueprint in MW3, follow the steps I’ve listed below:

This will add the custom weapon blueprint you’ve just created to the Armory (see image above), after which you may add it to your loadout with just a few clicks. This feature is essential in a modern Call of Duty as it eliminates the tedious process of selecting the meta attachments every time you use a weapon you’ve already built previously. I also suggest throwing on a cool camo and weapon charm before saving a custom weapon blueprint.
