The Seismic Vibrator is one of dozens of tools I’ve come across in Expeditions, but unlike the others, it took me a while to learn how to use it properly. If you’re still learning the ropes, here’s how to use the Seismic Vibrator in Expeditions: A Mudrunner Game.

How to activate Seismic Vibrator in Expeditions A MudRunner Game

The Seismic Vibrator serves no purpose outside of missions tasking you to perform seismic research in a designated area. There are five missions in total that require you to drive a truck equipped with a Seismic Vibrator. In every mission you’ll need to roam the map in search of the designated spot for activating the seismic vibration.

The only way to find the seismic vibration area is to follow the distance indicator in the top right corner of the screen(See image). The number of meters will start to drop once you’re moving in the direction of the area, meaning you’ll be playing a truck version of the popular hot and cold game.

Once you’ve reached your destination, you’ll see aStartseismicvibrationbutton prompt at the bottom of your screen. Press the designated button to perform the seismic research and successfully complete the stage of your expedition.

Best trucks for Seismic Vibrator in Expeditions A MudRunner Game

There aren’t many trucks in Expeditions: A MudRunner Game able to support the Seismic Vibrator, but the ones that served me best are theStep310Eand theTatra FORCE T815-7. These two trucks have enough power, decent fuel reserves, and good fuel consumption for their truck class. Since the Seismic Vibrator gives your trucks tons of extra weight, make sure to upgrade your engine, suspension, and winch before embarking on your expedition.
