If you’ve been playing Assassin’s Creed since the start, like me, then you know that romance went from being a significant part of theAssassin’s Creed franchiseto slowly declining over the years. Though earlier entries in the series heavily featured romance in their storylines, more recent titles like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla relegated this to some optional cutscenes with multiple potential partners. With that being said, you’re probably wondering if there are any romance options in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. I’ve broken it all down for you below.

Is there romance in Assassin’s Creed Mirage?

Over the years, romance options added a bit of depth to each Assassin’s Creed storyline, from changing the direction of the game to adding a bit of depth to the gameplay. Previous titles, such as the aforementioned Valhalla, had plenty of these options to give you more out of the story. Choosing your partner allowed you more influence over Eivor’s character.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage, however, leaves most players wanting more; the game opts for a more linear storyline, focusing more on its mechanics than any romance. This means that Miragedoes not include any romance optionsin the actual game.

This may come as a disappointment to some players since, in my opinion, it did make the story feel a bit more meaningful. But to others, romance never belonged in the game in the first place—to each their own.
