Limbus Company is a turn-based RPG gacha game that picks up where Library of Ruina left off, expanding upon a wonderful universe I put many hours into. The heroes you lead are called sinners, and each one of them has an incredible backstory. Their unique skill sets also distinguish them, and each sinner can contribute to your team uniquely. Knowing which sinner is the best fit for your build is crucial, so we compiled a list for you to look at before starting out.
Limbus Company Character Tier List and Reroll Guide
All the Best Characters in Limbus Company, ranked
We ranked all the best Limbus company characters based on their overallperformance and flexibilityin the game. Note that your personal experience may vary. This list is by no means end-all-be-all; since no PvP element is embedded into the game, you can make pretty much any build you imagine working with a little effort. This list only depicts the easiest way to play, giving you a general layout of how the individual character work compared to each other.
Best S Tier Limbus Company characters
Hong Lu
Hong Lu easily makes the top-tier character in Limbus company thanks to the incredible amounts of damage he can dish out, along with the consistency and flexibility of his performance. His second skill, the Cloud Cutter, has a Slash type of attack that works by stacking Bleed on targets, effectively finishing them off.
Ryoshu
Ryoshu is famous for her second skill, called I.H., which is probably the most powerful in the game, securing her a spot in the S tier of the list. It deals incredible amounts of damage, and with three +5 coins, this skill is maxed at 18 power. It’s complemented by I Can Cook Anything, her third skill, and a pure damage dealer that scales its damage with the decreasing of enemy health, and each head will increase the last coin’s final damage.

Faust
[The One Who Grips] Faust has almost the same stats as the N Corp Heathcliff. She does act more quickly, with her 4-7 speed range, and gets great coin values on her skills.
Best A Tier Limbus Company characters
Outis
Outis, with her Head Manager identity, is a very fast, buff-focused character. Her second skill can provide the slowest character in your build with a +20% speed buff, and her passive provides a nice morale boost to Outis and adjacent allies and procs rather easily.
Heathcliff
The N Corp Heathcliff is a very good damage dealer and clasher, especially with his third skill Infirm Retribution. He works best in a bleed-focused team or one that wants a lot of Envy, so he pairs quite nicely with Hong Lu.
Best B Tier Limbus Company characters
[Lobotomy E.G.O::Sunshower] Heathcliff can’t be considered a fully functional character because it was designed around the game’s new sanity system that quickly got reworked. As a result, a lot of work may be needed to make this identity work.
Don Quixote
[N Corp. Mittelhammer] Don Quixote is a character focused on the Tremor ability. Curiously, her abilities don’t fuse too well with other N Corp identities, with them not being able to use her buffs. Aside from that, she fails to deliver any significant damage on her own. That fact, coupled with bad overall synergy, makes her a rather lackluster identity.
Best C Tier Limbus Company characters
Rodion
[LCB Sinner] Rodion is a mediocre identity that was supposed to be applying bleed damage, which you won’t really notice because of her inability to clash properly. Oddly enough, her passive works great, with a 20% damage boost on heads for ID with the highest HP. Other than that, there is not a single thing that Rodion can do better than most of this roster.
Meursault
[W Corp. L2 Cleanup Agent] Meursault is a pure example of how a rare character can be useless, with his 000 rarity not exactly matching the overall uselessness of his kit. The only two things that work in his favor are his high speed and great debuffs, but he constantly fails to generate more charge than he can use.
