During the firstmissionin the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Campaign, you’ll get a dialogue choice when Makarov asks you: “Who holds power in this gulag? The guards, or the prisoners?”
There are four different ways to approach the commander’s question, all of which I’ve mentioned below along with the consequences of each choice.

No matter what dialogue option you choose to answer Makarov’s question, the outcome of the story will be the same. The choice here isn’t important to the lore, but Makarov’s reply will be different for each option:

Select any dialogue choice or stay quiet for Makarov’s reply, after which you’ll carry on with the mission as usual. At first, I thought that he’d kill my operator if I selected the wrong option, however, it turns out all the options are correct.
