You may remember doing theFirepowerchallenge during the early Modern Warfare 3 Zombies gameplay. The More Firepower Tier 3 mission from Act 2 takes it to the next level introducing you to the higher Pack-a-Punch rarity.
You’ll get the Survivor calling card after completing all the objectives for this mission:
How to Pack-a-Punch a weapon to Level 2 in MW3 Zombies
You can level up your weapon at a Pack-a-Punch machine in MWZ to improve its damage and ammo capacity. These machines are available at different locations around the map, but to Pack-a-Punch a weapon to Level 2 you have to visit one in theMedium Threat Zone. Open your tac map and look for the icon shown above inside the orange Tier 2 area.

Before that, you’ll have to collect a lot ofEssence(the currency in MW3 Zombies),15,000to be precise. While Pack-a-Punch Level 1 costs 5000, a Level 2 upgrade costs 10000 points. Essence can be collected by looting containers like Cash Registers and Aether Caches, butcompleting contractsis a more effective way to earn money fast.
It’s fine to first Pack-a-Punch your weapon to Level 1 at a Low Threat Zone machine and then travel to the Medium Threat Zone for a Level 2 upgrade. Once your weapon of choice is Level 2 Pack-a-Punched, start getting Zombie kills. Your gun will be powerful enough to easily take down Tier 2 zone hostiles, but going back to the outskirts of the map for the kills also works for the mission.
How to kill a Special Zombie with a Level II Pack-a-Punched weapon in MWZ
Special Zombies includeManglers,Mimics, andDisciplesand are indicated with askull icon(see image). You can easily find these creatures roaming in the Medium Threat Zone, but if you’re looking for a lesser challenge, I suggest going for theEscort contractin the Tier 1 area. Anywhere between three to six Manglers may appear while you’re escorting the ACV.
