In Call of Duty MW3 Zombies, Aether Extraction is a highly rewarding contract where you’ll be fighting against AI combatants. I’ve completed this contract several times in multiple runs, fetching tons of rewards and essence each time—here’s how you’re able to do it in-game.
How to complete Aether Extraction Contracts in MW3 Zombies
To start an Aether Extraction Contract, locate a phone that has arocket symbol(as shown by the yellow circle in the image above). Head over to the contract phone and pick it up to start the objective. During this contract, you’ll need to disable several Aether Extraction rockets that land on the map.
After accepting the contract, check your tac-map to see all the Aether Extractor locations in the area. You must disable each of the rockets individually by overloading them, but before that, I recommend leveling up your weapons and getting good gear. Keep in mind each of these rockets is guarded by powerful AI combatants, so stock up on lethal and tactical equipment before heading in.

How to overload Aether Extractor rockets in MW3 Zombies
To overload and disable an Aether Extractor, head over to the individual rocket and press the interact button to start the process. I highly recommend eliminating all the AI forces around these rockets first, as they can knock your operator down quickly.
Hold the interact button in front of the “Overload Aether Extractor” pop-up and wait for a few seconds for the process to complete. Once that’s done, repeat the same process with the other Aether Extractors. Remember, you’re able to complete this type of contract in any of the threat zones, so it’s best to have good weapons like theSVA 545in your arsenal. After completing the contract, a Reward Rift will appear from which you can collect the loot.
