One of the trickier aspects of the game is that themaps are generated differently each time, making it tough to get your bearings. However, puzzles (such as theTower of the Unseen puzzle) will work in the same way each time, so you just need to find the right triggers and processes.
Putrid Domain Location & Puzzle Guide for Remnant 2
As mentioned above, the Putrid Domain is a randomly generated dungeon that does not have a set location. However, it is a main dungeon so will be marked on your map (in the second map area) by a Square door marker with a white diamond above it. Note that you may get either the Hatchery or the Putrid Domain on any given run, so it is not guaranteed to be available each time.

How to get Blackout Ring in Remant 2 - Locked door puzzle
Once inside, the Putrid domain has one puzzle to solve that’s important to get right if you want to get theBlackout Ring. It’s a three-step process but a relatively simple one. You need to be on the lookout for some breakable canisters (see above, left). Once you find them, destroy them to reveal a hidden entrance. Climb down the ladder, and search until you find the Rerouting Cable (above, center). Don’t do anything with it yet, though.
Once found, go looking for the locked door (see above, right). Once you know its location, return to the secret passage and shoot the canister next to the rerouting cable. This has the effect of connecting the cables, andfixing the door. You now need to move quickly to the door and go inside, where you’ll find the Blackout Room. You need to do this relatively quickly though, as the cable fix is temporary, and thedoor will only stay active for a short time.
