Act 2 Mother of Invention tries to introduce players to more new activities in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. Safe Cracker, the first Tier 2 mission, challenges you to secure a weapon stash in the exclusion zone.
You can complete this mission to receive theQuick RevivePerk-a-Cola Can in your acquisition, but more importantly, the crafting formula for theCryo Freeze Ammo Mod.
How to complete the Raid Weapon Stash contract in MW3 Zombies
Open your tac map and look for a contract phone with thegun icon, like the one in the image above. Accept the contract and a Weapons Stash will be marked for you in a nearby building. Go there and startdrilling the safe, but before that, I suggest you study all the exit routes in case you get overrun by Zombies.
Once you place the drill on the Weapons Stash, aprogress barwill appear on the left side of the screen (see image). For the progress bar to fill, you need to stay close to the safe but going to a different room andmoving around inside the buildingis okay. Meanwhile, hordes of Zombies and Hellhounds will attack you. Stay on guard and take out the threats. By the time the drilling is over, you’d have easily killed 30 Zombies required for the Safe Cracker mission.

Do not allow the safe drill to pause
One thing you need to keep in mind is that thedrilling progress bar mustn’t stop. Therefore, youmust stay in the vicinityof the Weapons Stash. My building was small and had a ladder leading to the roof, which is where I stayed for the entirety of the contract as killing Zombies from there was easier than the claustrophobic room.
If you accidentally go too far, the progress bar will pause and start falling down. In that case, you cancancel the current contract and restartanother one. I also highly recommend finding and completing the Raid Weapon Stash in theLow Threat Zone. That’s because enemies in higher-tier areas are difficult to kill, moreover, you’ll often encounterspecial and elite Zombiesthere.
Where to find the Cryo Freeze Formula in MWZ
Once the contract is over, go to the Weapons Stash and collect any guns from there if necessary. For the final task in the Safe Cracker mission, make sure to collect the Cryo Freeze Formula from theReward Rift(second image). Now you need toexfilwith the formula to add it to your schematics and complete the mission.
