Petroglyph Games surprised us with an update for Star Wars: Empire at War—an RTS game from 2006 set between the events of Star Wars: Episode III and Episode IV.

Star Wars Empire patch notes (November 2023)
The latest Star Wars: Empire at War update converts both the base game and the Forces of Corruption expansion into64-bit applications, which resolves the common'‘out of memory’' errormany players were getting while playing on modern PCs.
On top of that, the patch brings a lot of gameplay improvements, unit rebalancing, and multiplayer fixes to one of our favoriteStar Wars games, making it more accessible to old-school gamers and newcomers alike. Listed below are all Star Wars: Empire at War update details.

Please note that with this update, older save games with the 32-bit version will not be compatible. To access your older 32-bit save games, switch to the 32-bit version by selectingPROPERTIES -> BETAS -> 32-bit_version
