The Finals is a first-person shooter game featuring variousclassesand loadouts. I’ll tell you which are the best weapons in The Finals.

All weapons in The Finals, ranked

There are21 weaponsavailable for use in The Finals. Each weapon is categorized in the light, medium, or heavy build.

S-tier weapons in The Finals

These weapons are the best, most powerful, and most versatile options for use in The Finals.

V9S

The V9S is a weapon designed for theLightbuild and is one of the most versatile weapons that can be used in The Finals. It is a semi-automatic pistol with very gooddamageandfire rate. You can pick off your enemies with the utmost accuracy from a distance while still having the firepower to push towards them. I always assume the S stands for silenced, too!

AKM

The AK is a household name when it comes to The Finals in the form of the AKM. This classic rifle is recognizable to any first-person shooter player from a distance. For theMediumbuild, this classic rifle is awell-roundedchoice, offeringbalancedstats across damage, fire rate, accuracy, and range, placing it in the middle of the stat spectrum.

Lewis Gun

The Lewis Gun is a light machine gun designed for theHeavybuild, and in my opinion, it is the best LMG available in The Finals. Unlike other M60, the Lewis Gun offerssignificant damagewhile delivering the highest number of rounds to enemies withminimal recoil. If you are holding off a cashout, this light machine gun will serve you well with some cover to suppress hordes of enemies.

XP-54

The XP-54 is the iconic MP5, a submachine gun beloved by players in first-person shooter games. Part of theLightbuild, this weapon is designed to make younimbleas you move from corner to corner and take down enemies with an incredible rate of fire. For an SMG, this weapon dealssignificantdamage, enabling you to maneuver and eliminate any type of opponent.

A-tier weapons in The Finals

A-tier weapons in The Finals are still incredibly powerful, especially if you know how to use them. When you’re tired of using OP S-tier weapons, I recommend you check out some A-tier options.

R. 357

Every game, in my opinion, needs asix-shooter, and The Finals has one in the form of the R. 357. Revolvers are all about high risk and high reward. Despite having a slower fire rate than some weapons, the R. 357 packs a huge punch in terms ofdamage. If you are someone who can tame this beast andchoose your shotscarefully, I highly recommend using it with theMediumbuild.

SA1216

The first shotgun I have included in the list, and it is the best one. The SA1216 is best forclose-quarter crowd control, as its range is not the greatest. However, if you are someone who always likes to be on the move, you can use this shotgun to go around corners and surprise enemies by jumping in front of them, making it easy to mow them down. Once you have fired your four shots, you will need to retreat back into cover. If you have aHeavybuild and prefer defending, you will do quite well with this.

Model 1887

If you enjoy using shotguns but prefer not to use the Heavy build, theMedium-build Model 1887 is the perfect choice for you. The classic lever-action repeating shotgun deliverssignificant damagedown the barrel, albeit at the expense of fire rate. However, if you are accurate with your shots, you’re able to easily take down enemies with the Model 1887 due to itstight spread of pellets.

M11

My second favorite submachine gun, aka machine pistol, in The Finals is the M11, which is a micro-Uzi for theLightbuild. It has thehighest fire rateof all weapons in The Finals, which can be advantageous, but it can also be equally detrimental if you do not choose your shots carefully, as you may end up emptying your entire magazine onto nothing. No need to worry, though, since the reload speed of 1.7 seconds will quickly get you back up and running, ready to take out targets.

B-tier weapons in The Finals

B-tier weapons are quite powerful, but they require more practice and learning before you can do any serious damage with them.

Flamethrower

I would have likely ranked the Flamethrower higher if it were as overpowered as it was when the game was first released. However, due to significant nerfs, thisHeavy-build exclusive has been downgraded. In fact, it seems like it might do more damage to you than to your team if you’re not careful with it. Once you get used to it, you’re able to inflict an incredible amount of damage whilecontrolling crowds, as it serves as a support weapon andburnsenemiesover time.

FCAR

The FCAR is another assault rifle designed for theMediumbuild. Despite itslonger rangeandaccuracy, I found myself choosing the AKM over the FCAR because of the FCAR’ssmaller magazine. I feel that there are not many scenarios where I needed the slight range advantage of the FCAR over the AKM. Regardless, the FCAR is a very solid weapon, but compared to the AKM, it feels like a somewhat pointless choice to me.

LH1

The LH1 is a semi-automatic battle rifle for theLightbuild. While this rifle delivers a powerful punch, I found myself clenching my mouse to keep it on target while shooting. In fact, I found it easier to shoot from the hip instead of scoping down despite its longrangeandaccuracy. Recoil control is likely to be your biggest challenge when using the LH1, as it can be a bitjumpy. However, if you master it, you’ll excel with it.

SR-84

The SR-84 is not your typical sniper’s nest rifle. ThisLightbuildbolt-action sniper rifle is designed formobility. Dealing some of the highest damage in the game, I highly recommend using this sniper rifle as ascout. Not only can you hold back and aim down sights if you’d like, but you will also likely excel atquick scopingenemies at the objectives.

Sledgehammer

If you prefer close combat, the Sledgehammer inflicts the most damage amongmeleeweapons in The Finals. If you find yourself inclose proximityto an enemy, go ahead and swing the Sledgehammer. It won’t be long before you take them down, as this simple Sledgehammer inflicts moredamagethan anyHeavy-build weapons in The Finals.

C-tier weapons in The Finals

C-tier weapons are not particularly the greatest, but you’re able to still use them when trying something new.

Sword

The Sword is aLightbuild melee weapon that you can use in The Finals. The maps in The Finals are expansive and vibrant, making it easy to get caught up in the search for enemies to take out while securing objectives. So, it’s easy to be caught off guard when a Sword usercreeps upon you and finishes you before you even realize it, especially if they are using the Cloaking Device specialization, which makes it much harder for peopleto seewhen active.

M60

The M60 is a light machine gun designed for theHeavybuild. While this LMG has alarger magazinethan the Lewis Gun, itfalls shortin terms of range, recoil, andaccuracy. So, I would only recommend using the M60 if you are in close proximity to an enemy and confident that you will hit them. Once you have the opportunity, choose the Lewis Gun instead.

CL-40

The CL-40 is a grenade launcher for theMediumbuild. While the CL-40 is effective for causingexplosionsand inflicting significant damage on both enemies and structures, it falls short in combat situations, particularly when facing an enemy with a faster-firing weapon. Achieving a higher fire rate than the CL-40 is relatively easy, as it has a verylow fire rate.

MGL32

Another grenade launcher, but this time, it’s for theHeavybuild. The MGL32 operates similarly to the CL-40, with only aslightly larger magazine. To take down an enemy using the MGL32, you would need tocatch them off guardand corner in atight space. The most significant impact of any grenade launcher in The Finals is its ability to intimidate the enemy more than anything else.

D-tier weapons in The Finals

D-tier weapons are the weakest in The Finals. These are the weapons or pieces of equipment you would generally want to avoid.

Throwing Knives

When it comes to weapons like Throwing Knives in a first-person shooter, I would expect them to carry a high risk and high reward due to the difficulty involved in using them. However, this is not the case with them, as thedamagethey inflict isinsignificantwhen compared to other weapons in theLightbuild.

Riot Shield

The current atmosphere of The Finals involves a lot of pushing along with aggressive gameplay. Using the Riot Shielddeflectssome of the enemy attacks, but it is also abulkypiece of equipment to handle while trying to return fire as someone with aMediumbuild. You find uses of it useful during times when you need to hold down a location. Apart from this, I’m not a big fan of it.

SH1900

A sawed-off shotgun for theLightbuild seems like a great idea—especially when you consider the stats and the amount of damage it can inflict. However, let me reiterate that itonly has two roundsin the chamber because it is a double-barrel shotgun. These two rounds deal significant damage. However, if you miss your shots, you’ll be out before you know it.

Dagger

It’s just a knife for theLightbuild; there’s not much else to it. you may be stealthy and use it to flank enemies, for sure. Why notuse the Sword instead?

The weapons in this tier list are based on my personal experience and some community feedback. I encourage you to use the loadouts you enjoy the most, as the dynamics in first-person shooter games typically change over time as new strategies emerge.
