Blizzard Entertainment has been teasing theWorld of Warcraft’s upcoming ‘Pirate’ patch for quite some time. We don’t know all that much about it, but here’s everything we do know, all in one place for you.
What is the Pirate update in World of Warcraft?
First things first, the Pirate Update is officially calledPatch 10.2.6and was actually on the roadmap Blizzard shared with the public several months ago. However, what we know about this update is still oddly little. Dataminers or Blizzard themselves usually reveal all the details for a patch, leaving no room for surprise.

That is pretty much everything that’s known about this update. Personally, I am a huge fan of Freehold and welcome any content that gives us an excuse to return to it. That said, I would temper expectations for this secret patch, as I don’t think it’s being considered a major one based on its naming conventions.
