Critical Strike Avoidance is a secondary stat that determines whether or not an attack that hits you turns out to be a critical hit. You want to avoid critical hits by stacking Critical Strike Avoidance of course, but there is a limit you need to be aware of.
Critical Strike Avoidance caps out at100, meaning every point of the stat you get on your gear, or through talents, is1:1. If you have a helmet with 50 Critical Strike Avoidance, then you have a50 percent chance to avoid a critical strikeif an enemy has a 100 percent chance to land one. The critical Strike Avoidance cap is, therefore,100. When you reach this cap,you become immune to critical hits, converting said hits intonormal hitsinstead. This is paramount for progressing endgame content.
