In the V2.1 patch notes, the Blade Ball developers mentioned that asecret abilitycould be obtained by those who place top 50 in the ranked No Ability game mode. At the time of this article’s publication, however, no one knows what this ability is, because no one has received it yet. Players in theBlade Ball Discordhave continuously complained that, despite the fact that they’ve ranked in the top 50, they have not received the ability as promised, and have expressed their worry that they will lose their spot on the leaderboard before the ability is given to them.

Since this update was released, the developers have not clarified how to actually get the secret ability (whether it’s a global or regional leaderboard and whether or not it counts in multi-person teams), or what the ability even is. It’s assumed that more information will be released soon.
